A chapter of the National Organization for Women, North Miami NOW is dedicated to education
and activism for Women's Rights.
HISTORY: North Miami NOW was convened on August 26, 1992 (Womens Equality Day) as
a new chapter of the National Organization for Women.
PURPOSE: To advance the unfinished revolution of women toward
true equality by confronting, with concrete action, the conditions that prevent women from enjoying the equality of opportunity
and freedom of choice which is their right.
